BIRDIE: a compact belay device with an assisted braking system.

BIRDIE is made entirely of metal. Its friction parts are made of steel for greater durability. BIRDIE is a compact belay device with an assisted braking system for lead climbing and top-roping.

The rope is released in line with the axis of the device to prevent it from twisting. The BIRDIE belay device can be used on all dynamic single ropes from 8.5mm to 10.5mm in diameter.

It exists in three colors: blue, green and orange.
