Designed to adapt to all types of single ropes, AIR FORCE belay devices and descenders are perfectly suited to beginners and expert climbers alike. Two models are available in our online catalog: AIR FORCE 1 and 3. The belay devices and descenders allow the leader to belay and lock one or two seconds independently during high altitude climbing activities.
Belayers / Descenders in Eight
The figure eight belay device has a double loop made from a light, hot-forged alloy. It can be used with single, half and twin ropes. It is available in several sizes: small, medium and large, each in mixed colors.
The compact belay
This model has an assisted braking system for lead climbing and top-roping. It can be used for all dynamic single ropes with a diameter ranging from 8.5 mm to 10.50 mm.
