Immerse Yourself in Alpine Wildlife with the 9-Hole Mini-Golf at Fort de Tamié!
In the heart of Savoie, the AccroCamp park at Fort de Tamié, perched between forests and Alpine panoramas, welcomes a new fun and educational activity: a 9-hole mini-golf course themed around the wildlife of the Savoyard mountains.
Designed to blend seamlessly into the landscape, this course combines play, discovery, and respect for the environment, offering visitors of all ages a unique experience in the heart of nature.
An Immersion in Alpine Wildlife
Each hole highlights an iconic Alpine animal through original staging: Corten steel silhouettes, educational panels, and obstacles made from solid oak wood.
Some examples:
- Elusive Wolf: Did you know? Wolves communicate with more than 20 different howls to defend their territory.
- Golden Eagle: Did you know? Its eyesight is eight times sharper than that of humans—it can spot a marmot from over a kilometer away!
- Curious Marmot: Did you know? It hibernates for six months a year, slowing its heart rate to 5 beats per minute and its body temperature to 5°C.
The other holes feature the Brown Bear, Forest Lynx, Agile Chamois, Torrent Frog, Eurasian Eagle-Owl, and Alpine Ibex, each with its own anecdote and specific obstacle.
